When I was about to move here there weren’t any reviews and it made me kind of skeptical about moving, but I have been here for 5 months now and I haven’t had any issues at all. The neighbors are nice, It’s clean here, and everything is updated on the inside so it looks really nice. Also the land lady here is so nice and helpful, and the rent is affordable.

They continue to raise the rent while letting this place turn into a slum. Shoot-outs in the parking lot (to which they told us they'd be changing the lock / keypad system and getting cameras, neither of which have happened). Teenagers constantly breaking in and trashing the place / smoking weed in the laundry room / trying to kick doors in. The siding of the building was torn off in a storm in April, it's now the end of August and it's still not fixed (they "haven't had any weather permitting days" over the course of four months apparently). Black mold and foundation cracks they continually cover up and refuse to acknowledge. The washers and dryers frequently break and take forever to get repaired. Mail is constantly stolen. The property manager, Beth Harrington from Wallace H. Campbell, has zero management skills, always has an attitude, never offers remedies or solutions, and is rarely available to speak with on the phone. DO NOT LIVE HERE.
Update: Since writing this review three days ago, we've called the cops three times regarding teenagers breaking in, smoking in the building, and trashing the place. All we are told is that Beth is aware of what's going on and all we can do is continue to call the police. We are scared to leave our unit after the sun goes down. There were almost two dozen teens in the building last night causing havoc, including vomiting in the hallway. This is no longer a safe nor hospitable living environment.

Absolutely great place. I was looking for a place to live when I moved to Indiana. I went to Abbey Court and everyone was so nice and welcoming. The staff are so nice. Aliyah made me feel welcome the day I went to sign my lease and pick up my keys. I couldn’t have picked a better place to call home.

Never again , mice infestation you can literally hear them in the walls at night. Addressed this situation to management it was brushed off , poor pest control management and let’s not mention the crickets/bugs I have to kill everyday in a clean house . Honestly I think it’s time for me to pay the extra 500 bucks to live in something more of standard , it’s not abbeys square apartments fault it’s my fault for being so cheap , learn to come clean your vents aswell before someone moves in with your bathroom mold . Could of mistaken this place as a motel

Among all places I've rented before, I consider Abbey Square the best place I've ever lived. This is absolutely such a great place. Ms. Theresa, the building manager, is such a nice and friendly person and she is always getting in touch with us to make sure everything is ok. Abbey Square has a handy man that is always available to fix things when needed. I've been living here since January 2005, it will be 21 years in a couple of months, and I don't think I could find another better place and more affordable. The building is very clean, there are housekeeper, private parking lot, and pleasant neighbors, and the location is excellent. Abbey Square is such a decent and safe place. I strongly recommend this place for those who are looking for an affordable, pleasant, safe and decent place to rent.

They seem to be nice. It seems to be quiet. I guess it will boil down to how loud/quiet or neat/dirty your neighbors are.

Decent place to live if you have a home owner mindset. They do not have a lease breakage option which sucks because even if you vacate, you are still responsible for the unit and all payments. They do not work with your unfortunate circumstances. The people however seem sweet. Just careless if you aren’t what they expect or like.

Ghetto with rude and almost non-existent customer service. When you are routed to corporate for any inquiries they never pick up the phone or return your calls. Avoid.
